Cairn Leuchan - Ballater

This place was an absolute gem for our romantic escape. We loved how comfortable and cosy it was, especially with the underfloor heating - perfect for coming back to after a day of wintry walks. the layout worked really well, ensuring a cozy and intimate atmosphere. the owner was extremely helpful and responsive, offering great recommendations for local activities and even leaving us some delicious fresh eggs.

There really wasn't much to dislike about our stay. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the non-stick pans could have been of better quality.

The place was fantastic with great facilities and very comfortable and clean rooms. the property was stunning, stylish, and provided a home-like experience. the bed was incredibly large and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. the hosts were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. the location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to nearby attractions and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fine accommodation in a beautiful setting. I could tell that great care and attention had been put into creating a home away from home experience. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding and towels were of the highest quality. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the directions provided made it easy to find the hotel. Located close to Ballater in a amazing part of Scotland, I would definitely rebook this hotel if I have the chance to visit again. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy converted steading. the underfloor heating kept us warm and comfortable during our entire stay. the location was perfect, allowing us to easily access beautiful walks and attractions nearby. the bed was incredibly comfortable with the softest bedding we've ever slept on. the bath and shower were a luxurious treat after long, cold walks. We also appreciated the strong WiFi signal for staying connected.

The kitchen could use some improvements, such as standard-size tumblers and a non-stick frying pan that is easier to handle. We also encountered some small cleanliness issues, like cobwebs around the windows and headboard.
