This place was an absolute gem for our romantic escape. We loved how comfortable and cosy it was, especially with the underfloor heating - perfect for coming back to after a day of wintry walks. the layout worked really well, ensuring a cozy and intimate atmosphere. the owner was extremely helpful and responsive, offering great recommendations for local activities and even leaving us some delicious fresh eggs.
There really wasn't much to dislike about our stay. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the non-stick pans could have been of better quality.

We had a fantastic stay at Cairn Leuchan. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful upper Dee Valley and Cairngorms. The cottage itself was modern, clean, and well-appointed with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living space. The underfloor heating was a cozy touch, especially during the snowy weather. The bed was comfortable, and we loved the luxurious bath and shower after long walks. The WiFi was reliable, and the owner provided clear instructions for check-in. Despite a few minor issues, like a shower temperature that was too hot and a non-working tin opener, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. we highly recommend Cairn Leuchan for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fine accommodation in a beautiful setting. I could tell that great care and attention had been put into creating a home away from home experience. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding and towels were of the highest quality. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the directions provided made it easy to find the hotel. Located close to Ballater in a amazing part of Scotland, I would definitely rebook this hotel if I have the chance to visit again. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy converted steading. the underfloor heating kept us warm and comfortable during our entire stay. the location was perfect, allowing us to easily access beautiful walks and attractions nearby. the bed was incredibly comfortable with the softest bedding we've ever slept on. the bath and shower were a luxurious treat after long, cold walks. We also appreciated the strong WiFi signal for staying connected.
The kitchen could use some improvements, such as standard-size tumblers and a non-stick frying pan that is easier to handle. We also encountered some small cleanliness issues, like cobwebs around the windows and headboard.

The luxury towels and bath products were a nice touch. The hosts were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had a relaxing stay. There were a couple of minor issues during our stay. The feather pillows in the cottage caused some discomfort for one of us who has mild allergies.

We had a great time during our city break. The accommodation was beautifully furnished and had all the amenities we needed. The underfloor heating was a cozy touch, especially with the snow outside. We also loved the location, with peaceful surroundings and easy access to the town. The taxi service was affordable, and we enjoyed delicious meals at the local restaurants. we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
While our stay was mostly positive, there were a few small things that could be improved. The property could benefit from a bit more attention to detail, as we noticed some cobwebs and small maintenance issues.
